Tracy and Phil prove that opposites attract in the most perfect, unexpected ways. When our friend Rebekah introduced her co-worker Phil to Tracy and the gang, no one expected a romance to spark between these two [Edited to add: Rebekah TOTALLY had a master plan as match-maker.] Yet Tracy stole Phil’s heart with her fun, feisty, and caring personality, and Phil ultimately won her over with his sweet boyishness and laid-back Southern charm. Together, they provide the perfect balance for one another and it just makes sense. We’re so happy for our dear friends and can’t wait for them to tie the knot in Tracy’s hometown on the Big Island of Hawaii!!

The warm afternoon light at the South Coast Botanic Garden was deeelicious.

Pumpkins are much heavier than they look, ain’t that right Phil?

Once the Gardens closed we headed toward the beach to catch the sunset. Phil didn’t hesitate to stride straight into the water. Tracy on the other hand…

Okay, so our beaches may not have anything on Hawaii’s, but looking at this image I can’t help but love our SoCal beaches – contamination, smelly kelp-mounds, sand flies, and all.

Congrats, Tracy and Phil! You two make a beautiful couple and we’re ecstatic to see what your future holds (hopefully some Hawaiian/hapa babies with cute Southern accents)!!

I’ll end with a few outtakes ![]()

Beach weather provides that sexy wind-blown hair!

This is why I carry a step stool everywhere I go. It’s tough being a shrimp.

Sigh… Joe does love his job… a little too much sometimes ![]()

Margaret and Karl each play about 32 different instruments. Karl brought along his guitar and Margaret her melodica. It made for some pretty badass photos.

Margaret, you are so beautiful. If Grandpa saw this image of you I could imagine him saying, “Whaaaooow! Who’s that? That can’t be my Maggie!”
