Geoff and Mickie, I know this post has been a long time coming, but it’s hard to pick favorites when the day is filled with endless amounts of silly bridesmen and groomsmaids, adorable parents, pop-up books that make you cry, hand-drawn comic strips, fist pumps and pelvic thrusts on the dancefloor, vodka shots in the parking lot, and straight up camera whores EVERYWHERE YOU TURN. Needless to say, I loved every minute of it. It’s always fun shooting weddings of friends, and even more fun when the wedding doubles as a happy college reunion. Mickie, I’ve always looked up to you and admired your kindness, selflessness, work ethic, and commitment to helping those around you. Geoff is a lucky guy to have found you, and you are lucky to have found someone so perfect for you in every way!! Your wedding day was special because not only was it a celebration of love, it was also a celebration of family, community, and friendship. I couldn’t have been more honored to be a part of it.

Mickie’s the type of person who usually struts around looking cute in b-ball shorts and one of many college org t-shirts,
so it was extra special seeing her get dolled up for her wedding day. She took everyone’s breath away

Feeling the love

Congrats, GeoffroMicks. You two are cute beyond words and I’m so sooo happy for you!!

This is Katerina and Charlie. They’re two of the sweetest people who give me the warm fuzzies and make me want to be a better person just by being in their presence. Hard-working lawyers by day, they also know how to kick back with a bottle of beer and just enjoy life. They are beautiful individuals inside and out, and they couldn’t be more perfect for one another. I had the pleasure of photographing their intimate wedding at the picturesque Los Angeles River Center and Gardens. Kat and Charlie, thank you for including us in your beautiful wedding day, for graciously welcoming us in like family (we practically are!), and for reminding those around you what it means to love so wholeheartedly.

Katerina is one of the most genuinely sweet people I’ve ever known. She also has some of the most adorable expressions EVER.

Every detail of the garden reception was carefully thought out and executed to perfection.


Charlie’s mother even surprised the couple with custom-made wine bottles for their special day.









Friends and family lent their musical talents to set the mood during the reception.
You couldn’t help but feel the love surrounding Kat and Charlie.


I’ll end with my favorite image from the day. They are so in the moment.
Every time I see this image it reminds me to just…slow…down…and appreciate these moments in life.
